What is the Dream Center?

The Dream Center is part of the Framingham Adult ESL Plus Program. It is a career center. The goals for the Dream Center include:
  • helping students explore an education and/or career plan
  • helping students write a resume
  • helping students write a cover letter

  • helping students write thank you letters to potential employers after a job interview
  • helping students prepare for job interviews
  • helping student complete a job application
  • helping student complete a college application
  • transcript information/ information about translating educational documents
  • financial aid ($) options for college

If you have any questions, please come to the Dream Center at Fuller Middle School and make an appointment with Evanggelia. She is here to help you!

Do you have an e-mail address?

When you are looking for a new job and/or applying to colleges, it is important to have an e-mail address that you check regularly. Many employers and college contact you through your e-mail address.

It is also very important to have a "professional-looking" e-mail address. Since your e-mail address is usually written on the top of your resume, below your name and address, it can be one of the employer's first impressions of you. You want to seem professional!

Automotive Programs:

There are options for various certificate programs, as well as an Associate’s Degree program.

Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School:

Porter and Chester:

The Automotive Technology program allows you to graduate in 12-18 months (12 months for the Morning and Midday program, 18 months for the Evening program).


Mass Bay Community College:

MassBay courses are offered days, evenings, weekends, and online. They offer certificate programs and an Associate’s Degree:





Universal Technical Institute (UTI):


Minuteman Technical Institute:

Students can earn a certificate or Associate’s Degree; students may attend part-time or full-time



Options include LPN programs (certificate), Associate Degree Programs, and Bachelor’s Degree Programs.

Criminal Justice Programs:

A degree in criminal justice could prepare you for a career as a police officer, a court officer, a clerk of courts, a juvenile justice advocate, a parole officer, etc. Most programs offer the minimum of an Associate’s Degree.

Teacher Education Programs:

You can study to become a preschool/early elementary school teacher, an elementary school teacher, or a middle or high school teacher. A certificate will allow you to work in a preschool, but all other grades require at least some college courses.
